You are in control of a small war plane / space ship with unlimited ammunition for whichever weapon you have for the moment. You can find new weapons by picking up small artifacts that floats around after you've killed some of the enemies the artifacts change color all the time and the weapon (or weapon upgrade) you will get is dependent on that color, eg. purple will give you a cool laser beam.
